... and I did it multiple times too!
For the last 2 days I have been playing GTA 4: Ballad of Gay Tony Online Multiplayer on a friends Xbox 360. It is the most fun I've had in a long time (even when I kept dying). I only came across the tiniest bit of lag which is good considering I live in a country area (albeit a City in a country area).
My favourite of the modes was Free Mode as I was free to do as I wish (taking brief drives to get away from the mayhem occasionally).
Controls are all the same, everything is the same but its more challenging than the actual game as I'm against REAL people, not a predictable AI. And may I just say PEEPS ARE CRAZY!! There were n00bs, pros and everything in between, they were cunning, they were stupid, it was fantastic!!
Of note were the helicopter skills of a user named Nikita something (remarkable skills, a real pro); the idea of hiding in a tank in the lake in Middle Park and firing upon anyone who dares come closer (don't know username), and of course Dead Rider 19; I killed him once and he then spammed the game telling the other users to go after me (thats what the damn game is about! Killing!) so I then forgot about all other players and only targeting him! I think I got in at least another 6 kills before he finally left the game (that'll teach you punk!)
What wasn't so enjoyable was towards the end of the second day when there were a total of 7 players. 5 of which were all friends, most probably on a LAN network would came after the other 2 of us (complete strangers). But when you're running from a guy with explosive shotgun rounds, a tank and 2 helicopters, all firing at you, you know you're alive!
