Mac Related Drivel

Well I recently found some cool pics on Flickr. (which i wont bother putting on here)

One was a picture of a persons license plate that says "IMA MAC" which I loved, as I am a big fan of those "I'm a Mac, and I'm a PC" ad's for Apple.

Also, not as cool was a picture someone had taken of their Macbook Air on a desk. What interested me was one of the comments said to tag the photo under "macbook air" and watch the number of hits rise exponentially. An administrator also asked them to join the Macbook Air Addicts group. Which made me think, why are people so addicted to the Macbook Air?

When it first came out I was impressed that it could fit in an inter-office envelope, but after seeing the price I quickly lot interest, especially after seeing it had no disc drive as standard. But I am now beginning to see why people like it, it's thin and beautiful, it doesnt weigh much so it is fantastic for grab'n'go situations.

When I went to JB Hifi with my friend Corey (who was buying a PC notebook), I began playing around with all the notebooks they had on display, the Macbook(previous white and black models), the previous model Macbook Pro and the Macbook Air, I found that I really loved the keyboard on the Air, it was the easiest to use. Though one thing I find a little weird is their new trackpad, which is now on all their notebooks, but I suppose that is something you just get used to.

I now think that I would not mind the Air, but I will have to save up for some time and I would probably wait for the second gen model that has an in-built disc drive.

Though I would also look at getting an iMac, I'm a big fan of the 24-inch model. It's so PRETTY!!!
